Easter/January & Advent /September Intake – Modular on Main/ Mukono campus

In addition to overall university requirements, applicants for this Programme will be screened for maturity, character, stability and academic ability. Applicants must:
• A relevant honors bachelor’s degree or its equivalent from a recognized university;
• A minimum of one year’s work experience is an added advantage;
• At least two referees, one must be academic;
• International applicants must have qualifications that are recognized for University entry in their respective countries.

One year with three modules and two years to complete

The post-graduate Diploma in Development Monitoring and Evaluation (PGDME)
Programme at Uganda Christian University is designed to serve development practitioners seeking to widen their knowledge and sharpen their skills in dealing with development monitoring evaluation; and planning and management skills.

Specific topical content in the Programme includes: Development Theories and Strategies, Development Management, Introduction to Development Monitoring and Evaluation, Qualitative Data Collection and Analysis, Monitoring Evaluation tools and frameworks, Consultancy Management, Project Management Information Systems, among others.

Graduates with this degree are qualified to work with local, regional, national and International public and private organizations, community based civil society groups. Positions can involve M&E Specialists, researchers, analysts, Programme coordinators, consultants, among others.
