Bishop Barham College founded in 1924, then known as Normal School grew to provide intellectual Educators and Leaders, the “Banyakigezi”. It rose to become a Regional Theological College of Church.
UCU Mbale College started in 2003 in response to the demand for higher Education with a Christian foundation in the Region. Initially the centre begun with only 43 students, four full-time staff.
