ABOUT US
Church relations office is mandated to link the Uganda Christian University and the province of the Church of Uganda, having UCU Sunday as our flag activity.
OUR MISSION
We work to connect churches to the resources of Uganda Christian University and also connect students with the broader Christian church community. As the Apostle Paul wrote in his letter to the Philippians, “In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now, being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 1:4-6)
Church Relations is an entry point to the University’s educational and ministry resources including:
Every year, we do organize an annual event dubbed UCU Sunday for churches across the province of the church of Uganda to Pray and Support the University Reach out to the Unreached.
CONSTRUCTION OF ORDINANDS APARTMENT 2021
With the increasing need to train church ministers, it is inevitable to expand Bishop Tucker Theological College in-order to deepen and widen her clergy ministerial formation for today’s church.
The University’s administration proposes the construction of the 8.5Billion UGX project dubbed ‘ORDINANDS APARTMENT’ which will enhance the training and formation of the clergy.
