Applicants are required to have:
• Uganda Certifi cate of Education (UCE) or its equivalent; and
• At least one principal pass and two subsidiary passes at A’ level taken at the same sitting.
Two years, with maximum of four years to complete
The Diploma in Procurement and Logistics Management aims to introduce students to the different facets of procurement and logistics management at diploma level. In additional to theory and practical skills, participants receive hands-on training in real-time procurement and emphasis on sustainability in relation to procurement.
Topical content in the Programme includes procurement, economics, warehouse and store management, supply chain management, marketing, accounting, strategic procurement, principles of procurement and supply chain management, international purchasing, quantitative methods, logistics, organizational behavior, and strategic procurement and supply chain management.
Among careers available for those who complete this Programme are managers of supply chain, fleet, stores; operations officers; procurement officers; and entrepreneurs.
