Easter/January Intake – Modular at Main/Mukono campus as well as Mbale University Col-lege, Bishop Barham University College, Arua campuses
In addition to overall university requirements for degree Programme entry, applicants for this Programme must:
• Have Diploma in Secondary Education of at least lower second class. The student has to study the subjects he or she offered at diploma level.
Two years minimum and four years maximum to finish
This Programme is meant for training secondary school teachers who are diploma holders who are interested in upgrading their degree level. It is a convenient teacher friendly modular holiday Programme comprising six modules covered in two years. This Programme offers an in service opportunity for continuing professional training and development for secondary school teachers. The Programme is meant to help them upgrade thus improve on their knowledge, skills and attitudes/values, in order to offer better teaching services.
• The student has to study the subjects he or she offered at diploma level.
Graduates of this Programme are ready to advance in a career as professional teachers and education service providers.
