The Diploma of Business Administration Programme in the Faculty of Business and Administration focuses on a basic understanding of how the economy operates and is managed. The diploma of business administration is meant to allow students to gain basic information about business administration, practical experience through internship opportunities, as well as e-learning options in the Programme. Through completing this diploma, the graduate will receive an exemption from the first years of the bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and the upgrading can be done immediately after the students complete the diploma

Application fees for Ugandan nationals Ushs. 100,000 ugx, Ushs. 150,000 ugx for programmes with Pre-entry Exams. E.g; Bachelor of Law, Bachelow of Dental Surgery and Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery, Master of Business Admnistration.
Application fees for International applicants USD50.
Advent/September, Easter/January, Trinity/May Intakes - Full-time Day at Mukono/Main campus and Kampala campus
Applicants for entry into this Programme are required to have: • Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) or its equivalent; and • At least one principle pass and two subsidiary passes at A’ level taken at the same sitting.
Two years, with maximum of four years to complete
This Programme includes study in the following topics: business economics, business communications, business information technology, financial management, cost and management accounting, and principles of marketing, among others.
Career prospects upon completing this degree can be found in local, national and international government, non-profit and private sectors with such titles as: accountants, finance assistants, marketers, audit assistants, and entrepreneurs.
