Advent/September, Easter/January,Trinity/May intakes – Full -Time Day and Evening at UCU – Mukono/Main campus and Kampla campus as well as at Mbale, Arua and Bishop Barham University College Campus

In addition to the other University admission requirements for undergraduate Programmes, one of the following categories will allow admission to this course:

Direct entrants with Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) or its equivalent, and least 2 A’ level advanced principle passes in Economics, Mathematics, Entrepreneurship and natural sciences taken in the same sitting;
Diploma in Business Administration or related Courses;
A pass in mature-age examination – such candidates must be Ugandan nationals of at least 25 years and have formal education. Those who are successful, in both the written and oral examination, are considered for admission.

Three years with maximum of five years to complete

The Bachelor of Business Administration in the School of Business aims to expose students to the different facets of business in order to form well- qualified and thought business professionals working from a strong Christian ethical framework. In the programme, individualised learning and teamwork are emphasised with technical and relational curriculum relevant to real-world business opportunities, particularly in Uganda. A bachelors degree in this programme also lays the groundwork for masters degree studies.

Beyond foundation courses such s writing and study skills, and Old and New Testaments, topical course content includes: marketing, entrepreneurship, business law, quantitative methods, statistics, accounting, auditing, taxation, public relations, international business, and consumer behaviour.

Upon completing this degree, students are qualified to gain employment as accountants, financial advisers, marketers, commodities traders, loan officers, business managers, entrepreneurs of their own business and real estate, and in human resource officers
