Press Conference: UCU Deputy Vice Chancellor of Academic Affairs, Rev. 580 students are set to graduate at part 4 of the 26th graduation ceremony of Uganda Christian University (UCU) Mbale University College. The ceremony happening tomorrow, Friday, November 28, 2025, will be graced by Lady Justice Catherine Bamugemereire as Chief Guest.

Of the graduating cohort, 291 (51%) are male and 289 female (49%). Seven (7) students achieved first class.

The overall best student is Masette Elsie Wokuri pursuing Bachelor of Social Work and Social Administration with a CGPA of 4.68.

The overall best male student is Abdul Nasser Majid Matege of Bachelor of Business Administration with a CGPA of 4.62.

The graduands will be commissioned today, Thursday, November 27, 2025, at St. Andrew’s Cathedral Mbale, by the Rt. Rev. John Wilson Nandaah, Bishop of Mbale Diocese.

All Parents, graduands and guests are advised to dress decently in accordance with the UCU dress code policy.
