Uganda Christian University (UCU) has officially launched a newly constructed facility at its Kampala Campus, providing students with improved access to dining, seating and essential student services.

The new building, was officially unveiled, on August 11, 2026, by UCU top management led by the Vice Chancellor Prof. Aaron Mushengyezi, together with student representatives, houses a canteen and a multipurpose space that will support the growing needs of students at this Campus.

The development is part of the University’s Campus Transformation Initiative, which seeks to improve learning and student-life facilities across UCU campuses.

The new facility comes at a time when the Kampala Campus is experiencing continued growth in student numbers and academic activities. The facility is designed to provide students with several essential services under one roof, among the priority services are: Catering and food services, Mobile banking services, Stationery, Printing and binding, among others.
