Bachelor of Arts with Education (BAED)

In addition to overall university requirements for degree Programme entry, applicants for this Programme must:
• Hold at least the Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) or its equivalent with at least two principal passes in subjects related to their choice for major, obtained in the same sitting.

Three years minimum and five years maximum to finish

The Bachelor of Arts with Education Programme in the Faculty of Education and Arts is de-signed to enable students explore knowledge in their areas of specialty that could be a combination of religion and history, communications and geography and English and literature, among other combinations as indicated below. Students will develop mastery of their area of specialization and learn to communicate effectively, handle secondary school students with discipline, and act as role models to promote Christian spiritual and moral formation.

Graduates of this Programme are ready to start a career as professional teachers and education service providers.
