About the event
The 2nd UCU Annual Symposium on Research, Innovation, Engagement, and Pedagogy brings together scholars, researchers, students; practitioners in private and public sectors. They present their work, innovations and discuss how research, innovation, community engagement, and teaching can drive the transformation of society. The symposium defines research and innovation broadly and welcomes contributions from every discipline.
Africa stands at a crossroads. Prolonged droughts, floods, rising sea levels, and rapid changes to the landscape threaten food security, water, and livelihoods. Yet the continent is full of intellectual energy and a growing community of scholars determined to turn these challenges into opportunities. The symposium harnesses that energy through capacity building, knowledge exchange, and shared problem-solving.
You may take part in several ways:
- Present a paper or poster based on an abstract approved by the Organizing Team
- showcase your work as an exhibitor
- attend as a participant
