Prof. Aaron Mushengyezi is the Vice Chancellor of Uganda Christian University (UCU). He holds a PhD from the University of Connecticut, USA, a MA degree from Makerere University, as well as well as a BA (with First Class Honours).

He previously worked with Makerere University as an Associate Professor and Dean of the School of Languages, Literature and Communication in the College of Humanities and Social Sciences. Prof. Mushengyezi also headed the Department of Journalism and Communication at Makerere. He has authored and co-edited seven books and several academic articles in peer-reviewed journals and monographs. Prof. Mushengyezi has won and coordinated various research grants and managed partnerships with many national and international universities and agencies. He is married with four children.
