Trinity/May intake – Full-time Day at Mukono/Main campus
In addition to the other University admission requirements for undergraduate Programmes, one of the following will allow admission to the course:
• Two principal passes at A’ level, with at least 2 principal passes at same sitting;
• Diploma in theology from a recognized institution of higher learning;
• A Pass in mature-age examination administered by NCHE.
• All candidates must pass a faculty interview.
Three years with maximum of five years to complete
The Bachelor of Divinity Programme equips men and women to preach, evangelize, teach and care for God’s people in knowledge and love of God. Content is delivered in lectures and practical training. In the final year, students complete a research project.
The more than 30 courses cover such topics as Christian worship, Old and New Testament, African traditional religion and Islam, pastoral care and counselling, world views, and the history and theology of the churches of the Anglican Communion, among others.
Graduates will be prepared for multiple careers to serve God in church ministry and public life.
