Uganda Christian University (UCU) warmly welcomes applications for its three annual intakes: September (Advent), January (Easter), and May (Trinity). With a range of programs like Business, Law, Medicine, Education, Theology, and many others, UCU is committed to equipping students for productive, holistic lives of Christian faith and service.

Whether you are a recent high school graduate, a diploma holder, or an international student, UCU has slots just for you.

For direct entry, you will need a Uganda Certificate of Education (or equivalent) and at least two advanced level passes in relevant subjects from the Uganda Advanced Certificate of Examination (or equivalent).

Alternatively, a Higher Education Certificate in the relevant field works too.

Diploma holders can apply with a relevant diploma from a recognized institution.

International students should have qualifications recognized for university entry in their home country, with non-English transcripts translated and certified.

If your national language is not English, you may need to complete a supplementary year program to meet our English proficiency standards.

Once your application is complete, it is sent to the University Admissions Board, which evaluates it based on the specific needs of your chosen program. Some applicants may be invited for an interview or an entry-level test. Admission decisions are finalized by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor for Academic Affairs.

To secure your spot, you will need to pay a non-refundable tuition fee to the University Bank Account and present your receipt and confirmation slip to the academic office by the set deadlines. You can also submit these online. Keep in mind that vacancies, even confirmed ones, and are not held beyond the registration period.

To apply, pick up an application form for a small, non-refundable fee. Make sure to complete it fully, attach all relevant academic documents, and submit it to the Admissions Office by the published deadline.
