SALE OF USED UNIVERSITY MOTOR VEHICLES AND MOTORCYCLES

Uganda Christian University is disposing off used Motor Vehicles and Motorcycles through the bidding process. 

This is therefore to invite All Persons who may be interested in participating in this process to submit their Bids indicating how much they are offering for their selected item.

 Your Bid should be enclosed in a properly SEALED envelope and clearly marked “Bid for Motor Vehicle/Motorcycle Reg. No……. (from the list above)” and addressed to: The Deputy Vice Chancellor (Finance & Administration) and should be submitted in the same office by 5:00 p.m. on Monday 31st May 2021

The Motor Vehicle and Motorcycles will be available for inspection on working days beginning from Monday 24th May 2021 up to Friday 28th May 2021 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Pilkington parking for the Vehicles and the Technology parking for the Motorcycles. 

In order to avoid Conflict of Interest, staff in the following Offices will refrain from Bidding:

 

1.    The Vice Chancellor’s Cabinet

2.    Directorate of Facilities & Capital Projects Central Office

3.    Procurement Central Office

4.    University Mechanic

 The successful Bidders will be the highest Bidders above the reserve price and will be informed within a week after Monday 31st May 2021. The successful Bidder shall be expected to pay the full Bid amount of the Vehicle/Motorcycle within three weeks upon receipt of the offer letter to the University Bank Account which will be provided in the offer letter. 

NB: The Motor Vehicles and Motorcycles will be sold off on “as is, where is” basis and Uganda Christian University will have no further liability after sale. 

Please note that late Bids will not be accepted/considered.

 Uganda Christian University reserves the right not to sell to any Bidder.
