By Samuel Tatambuka

Vice Chancellor Prof. Aaron Mushengyezi has offered UGX 10 million to Bachelor of Tourism and Hospitality Management (BoTHM) students to boost their program.

The money, which will come from the Vice Chancellor Fund vote, will boost the program because the world is looking for people with practical skills.

This was revealed during an evaluation meeting held at Eunice Guest House on 16th April, 2021.

“The world needs people like you who have trained in tourism and hospitality management. For that matter, I am offering you sh10m to support you in your activities,” said Prof.  Mushengyezi.

This has come at a time when the students are preparing for a five-day safari for wild based tourism and eco-systems which is aimed at equipping students with skills on how to interact with wildlife in their natural habitats.

Maria Nsimenta, a third year BoTHM Student, thanked Prof. Mushengyezi for the support and said the money will help them to hone their skills.
