Advent/September, Easter/January,Trinity/May intakes – Full -Time Day and Evening at UCU – Mukono/Main campus and Kampla campus as well as at Mbale, Arua and Bishop Barham University College Campus

In addition to the other University admission requirements for undergraduate Programmes, one of the following categories will allow admission to this course:

  1. Direct entrants with Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) or its equivalent, and least 2 A’ level advanced principle passes in Economics, Mathematics, Entrepreneurship and natural sciences taken in the same sitting;
  2. Diploma in Business Administration or related Courses;
  3. A pass in mature-age examination – such candidates must be Ugandan nationals of at least 25 years and have formal education. Those who are successful, in both the written and oral examination, are considered for admission.

Three years with maximum of five years to complete

In line with its mission of becoming the leading provider of Quality business education as well as the increased use of computers in East African Business operations and tasks, the School of Business of Uganda Christian University developed a Bachelors of Business Computing(BBC) degree. This programme provides students with the opportunity to acquire a through grounding in the fundamentals of computer science and core business and management skills while helping students reach the standard of knowledge and skills required by industry and professional bodies.

Topics within the course in the programme include: business programming, discrete mathematics, marketing management, business economics, information systems, financial management, mobile applications development, computer networks, statistics, system analysis and design and business law.

Career prospects upon completing this degree cab be found in local, national and international government, non-profit and private sectors with such titles as: business/systems/technical/programmer analyst, database administrator, intelligence/ threat analyst, graphic designer, E-commerce project officer, web developer, database administrator, and technical research officer.
