With the role of government becoming increasingly complex, it is even more important to have highly qualified public administrators focused on ethics, efficiency and effectiveness. The Bachelor of Public Administration and Management in the Faculty of Social Science emphasizes these traits through skill development and knowledge about branches of government and their effective practices. Content and practical skill is acquired with on-campus and e-learning as well as through 20 weeks of experiential learning.

In addition to foundational courses, topics in the course units of the Programme include political science, public management and administration, statistics, governance, administrative law and processes, disaster management and democracy and human rights, among others.

Professionals in public administration are needed to make government function well. Administrators not only support government in various roles of tracking data, forming and communicating policy and advising staff but also serve as watchdogs who identify and provide solutions for eliminating waste and curbing corruption.
