The camp aims at equipping participants with knowledge about university life and facilitating their transition into campus life while providing them with skills and values needed to make informed career choices.
This is because the university believes that joining university is a key defining moment in a person’s life irrespective of the university one joins. It is a key stage of character formation, shaping career path, entering into new relationships and shaping one’s outlook to life. “It is thus important that soon-to-be university students are fully prepared for the next chapter of their lives,” said Mr. David Mugawe, the Deputy Vice-Chancellor Development and External Relations.
