Students can be admitted to the Uganda Christian University through the routes outlined below: The Direct Entry Scheme A candidate shall be deemed eligible for consideration for admission to a first degree programme of the University if the candidate has obtained:
The Uganda Certificate of Education (O’level) or an equivalent qualifications At least two advanced level passes in approved subjects at the same sitting of the Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education Examination (A’level or an equivalent qualification).
The Mature Age/Special Entry Scheme Candidates for the Mature Age/Special Entry Scheme must be at least 25 years and have had formal education at least five years previous to the year of admission. Those who are successful, in both the written and the oral examination, are then considered for admission.
The Diploma Holders Entry Scheme Candidates must be holders of a diploma relevant to their desired fields of study.
