When I attended my own Ph.D. graduation in Manchester, England, almost exactly 30 years ago, my overwhelming feeling was one of – ignorance. Yes, I had become a master, a doctor of a particular field, but I realized at the same time that there were many fields, even many areas of my own field, where I was woefully ignorant. I was knowledgeable, but knowledge is not wisdom and you can be an expert in some subject but a fool in how to live life to the full-- Prof. Stephen Noll to graduates at Uganda Christian University.

Uganda Christian University holds its 10th graduation ceremony Saturday 27th June 2009. The ceremony will see over 900 students graduate, 30 of them with first class degrees. Of the 901, 485 are female and 416 are male.
